Inleiding
De componist en theatermaker Soraya Lutangu Bonaventure, een vriendin en samenwerkingspartner van Korakrit Arunanondchai, is uitgenodigd om een soundwalk te maken die zijn sculpturale installatie uitbreidt naar andere zintuigen en delen van het park.
Als een spookachtig verhaal dat zich langzaam ontvouwt, draagt de soundwalk Arunanondchai's stem door het park en roept daarbij postapocalyptische gevoelens op. Bezoekers bewegen zich door een landschap dat stilletjes lijkt te vergaan en te veranderen in een ander wezen, gevangen in een eindeloze cyclus van herinneren en vergeten. Het park wordt een hoeder van herinneringen, geesten en ongeziene aanwezigheden — een plek waar tijd en ruimte in elkaar overvloeien.
De wandeling duurt 20 minuten en begint gezamenlijk bij Molenplaats. Draag comfortabele schoenen en regenbestendige kleding, aangezien de route door de heuvelachtige bosgebieden van Park Sonsbeek loopt.

About the artist
Soraya Lutanga Bonaventure is a composer and theater maker whose practice materializes the fugitive points of friction between ecstasy and mourning.
Led by a curiosity for how systems of violence interlock with the textures of everyday life, Soraya Lutanga Bonaventure work explores the degrees of legibility suspended in our gazes and the potential to imagine otherwise. Grounded at the crossroads of embodied knowledge and critical theory, she embraces multiplicity and builds choreographies of both repair and revenge that engage with the poetic notions of presence/absence. Her works and performances have been presented at MoMA PS1, Centre Pompidou, ICA London and Miami, MCBA Museum, Bangkok City City Gallery, Chisenhale Gallery, Arsenic Theatre, Tanzhaus Zürich, Gessnerallee, Friart Kunsthalle, Hartwig Foundation, Centre d’Art Contemporain de Geneve, Berghain, Swiss Institute of Milano and Rome, among others.
