Inleiding
As part of Museumnacht, Museum Arnhem opens its doors in the evening for a special visit to the work of Esma Yiğitoğlu. This is a unique opportunity to experience her sculptures in the Koepelzaal in a very different atmosphere than during the day.
Esma Yiğitoğlu was a Turkish-Dutch artist (b. 1944, Zincidere, Türkiye; d. 2009, Rotterdam), known for work in which Sufi philosophy, Islamic architecture, vernacular building traditions and Western art history come together.
From 8pm, Yiğitoğlu's work will be on view in the Koepelzaal. Doors close after midnight.
A ticket grants access to all Museumnacht activities.
