This organization for contemporary visual art in Arnhem focuses on experimentation, artistic research, and talent development for artists and curators. A presentation institution without a permanent collection, their projects take place in their spaces located near the city center. Working across interconnected venues, Omstand invites artists to make and present work in dialogue with specific exhibition contexts, encouraging them to take on multiple roles in a program that emphasizes collaboration. Jumana Manna’s installation takes over the turbine rooms, while Ipeh Nur’s work makes the greenhouse into a cave-like environment.
