Additionally, you can find information about the purposes for which your data is stored and used, and what your rights are. Sonsbeek Art Projects handles your personal data with great care, in accordance with privacy laws and regulations. We will never share your data with third parties without first asking for your consent. Due to possible changes in laws and regulations, our privacy policy is subject to any future changes.
What personal data do we store and process?
— Information that you provide to us or our partners, such as your name, home address, email address, and payment details;
— Information we obtain from you through your visit to our website, such as IP addresses and clicks.
For what purposes is your data stored and processed?
— Sonsbeek art projects stores and processes your personal data solely for the purpose of providing you with accurate information and guaranteeing our services. We are a non-profit organization with ANBI status, without commercial profit objective.
— Newsletter. If you sign up, we may use your name and email address to send you a newsletter. You can unsubscribe from receiving further newsletters at any time.
— Website. We collect and use your personal data primarily to provide you with our (web) services, to improve them where necessary, and to inform you about Sonsbeek. In addition, your data is used to gain more insight into visitor numbers and the uses of our website.
— Sale of tickets, visitor guides, and merchandise. At the time this privacy policy comes into effect, no sales are yet taking place via an (online) ticket system. In the future, we will process personal data to enable ticket or other sales.
How long do we keep your data?
Sonsbeek art projects does not retain your data longer than is legally permitted and necessary for the purposes for which your data is processed. How long certain data is retained depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is processed. The retention period may therefore vary depending on the use. Your personal data relating to the newsletter will be retained indefinitely. You can unsubscribe at any time, after which your data will no longer be retained.
Where is your personal data stored?
— For the purpose of sending the newsletter, we store your name and email address in Mailchimp. No physical copies of this data are ever made.
— The data you leave behind when using our website is stored in the back end of the website, for example which pages you visit and how long you visit them.
What are my rights?
— Right of access. You have the right to request your data from us at any time.
— Right to rectification. Is the data we hold about you no longer correct? You have the right to instruct us to correct the incorrect information.
— Right to erasure. Do you no longer want us to store your data? You can exercise your right to have your data erased.
— Right to object. You can object to the use of your personal data if the use of your personal data is not necessary for the performance of our activities, or does not comply with a legal obligation. Even if you have given your consent at an earlier stage, you can object to the further use of your personal data.

We kindly ask you to include your name, address, telephone number, and a copy of a valid ID (with the document number and social security number made illegible) with your objection. It is also important that you clearly state which use of your data you object to. We aim to respond to your objection within four weeks.
Is my data secure?
Sonsbeek art projects takes all reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect our audience against unauthorized access or alteration, disclosure, or destruction of personal data. If, despite the security measures, a security incident occurs that is likely to adversely affect your privacy, we will inform you as soon as possible.
