ARIKEL is an international, experimental documentary film festival from Jakarta, which came to Arnhem. That's why the films at Arnhem Focus Filmtheater starting at 9pm from 5 to 11 June are slightly different than usual.

The organisers of ARKIPEL are Forum Lenteng, a film community from Jakarta. For SONSBEEK '16, they worked together with Focus Filmtheater to organise a mini-ARKIPEL, consisting of films about contemporary local and international politics, economy, revolving around the following themes:
