CAMP, Dady de Maximo & Arnhem voor Vluchtelingen, If The Sea Could Talk, 26 augustus2016
At the invitation of ruangrupa, CAMP organized a fashion show together with the Rwandan artist and designer Dady de Maximo and the foundation Arnhem for Refugees at the work VVestlife by KUNSTrePUBLIK. The models consisted of professional models and refugees. They wore, among other things, clothes made from rice bags from the UNHCR and life jackets worn by boat refugees who crossed the Mediterranean Sea. In total, they presented 40 creations by the designer who himself survived the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda (1994).
