Save the Date: Sonsbeek 2026

In summer 2026, Arnhem will host the thirteenth edition of Sonsbeek, Europe’s oldest recurring exhibition for art in public space. From 2 July through 11 October 2026, Park Sonsbeek and partner institutions across Arnhem and the wider region will become the stage for new, ambitious works by around twenty artists from the Netherlands and abroad. Read the press release.…

COLLECTION: ART IN PUBLIC SPACE
1949-2021, Park Sonsbeek and other locations, Arnhem

In Park Sonsbeek and the surrounding area, exhibitions have been held with some regularity since 1949. Of the hundreds of artworks that were displayed during the various editions of Sonsbeek up to and including 2021, dozens have found a permanent place in Arnhem. From this collection, 20 are currently documented on our website.
